Google Switching Up It’s Search?
Well, as of today it can be said yes. Google is in fact once again changing their search results? Why? Who the hell knows really. However, there are now two distinct search pages now being served through two different algorithms for the most part.
Let’s examine what happens when you do the traditional search now at Google.com.
You enter your search query as normal. Then what happens next is something a bit new. Google instead of doing the classic search they are now doing a new type. Before, you would see something like “http://www.google.com/search?q=”. This is something simple & easy to break down. You have the search function google takes you too, and the q= part actually is nothing more than your query. This of course is followed by session ID, client browser information, what page to start at.
However, now “http://www.google.com/#q=” is the new search function. Differences seem to be nothing more than perhaps contextual aspects of the search results. Sorta like what Google does with it’s local listings and the like. Context being the key with local listings. To get better information on that, well that will be a different post.
Sorry, for the quick post, but, more research is needed & wanted to start bringing back great information that is found here at Graphic SEO.
