Okay this might not be so new to some people but I thought this might help some people gain some knowledge on google and yahoo’s Algorithm.
Its amazing to me what tactics black hats will use for the sake of SEO. Some, illegal by US & international law. Some Blackhats will go much further than just doing the plain, old type of gaming Google listed in the earlier post, they will turn to computer crime. I would like to take a minute and actually get on the topic that I love, computer security & how you can prevent your blog/web page from getting hacked via XSS.
Okay so i was posed with a question today, by a colleague of mine on the age old debate of white hat vs. black hat SEO. While i will not get into my views on white hat vs. black hat i will say this “Its Common Sense”. we are taught growing up the difference between right and wrong.. But hold on this is not (at least for most people) a difference between right and wrong but a difference between getting caught and not getting caught. hmm lets just take a minute to ponder that. We all know lbuying links are wrong but how many BIG companies actually do it? Okay i know what the rebuttals would be on that one. You will say that any business must spend money to make money and whats the harm in spending that money on links. right?
